Speaking of Louisiana, you we lose a football field of State's Rights per hour. Seriously. No shit.
No land, no State's Rights. Makes perfect sense if you were an economic strategists for the oil companies back in the 1950s. Hell yeah, they knew the pipelines out of Louisiana to the Gulf, as well as from closer rigs into the state, would disappear the wetlands. It's not rocket scientry but it is harder than riding your tricycle into a fire hydrant. I think they saw it coming way before LSU even thought about a coastal sciences dept.

Alas, this is also why I think the Corps did not tear down and redesign all those still Bad floodwalls. The Corps plans on New Orleans getting Out Of The Way, they have set themselves to flood it again by not tearing down the rest of the corruptly engineered floodwalls. They think in 50 or even 100 year terms. They aren't stupid and they don't actually work for the majority of American Taxpayers.
For example, the one of the main breaches of the 3 catastrophic ones to flood 80%of the city, the 17th Street Canal Breach, is only 400ft of about 4 miles of the same bad floodwalls. That floodwall failed because it was built wrong. That part was corruption. What I'm getting at now is post Federal Flood, they're setting us up to flood again ---from a hurricane not sea level rise yet.

People are in the way in South Louisiana. The oil industry needed them before, but not now. They'll always have enough people to work those big wages, what they don't need is the land anymore and subsequently those state's rights.

This is as clear as the mole on that diaper-wearing whoremongering Christian David Vitter or the collagen in Mary Landrieu's labia.

Thanks yous
