Washington DC, and many of your local politicians expressed empathy, and then cut funding to the social services keeping you afloat. The environmental protections meant to keep you safe were gutted and underfunded, and now that they have collapsed, immersed in a bath of oil and chemicals…they ignore your demands to keep your lives within the shadow of the American Dream, that same dream being lived by the politicians who sold you out while they shook your hand…and expected your vote.

Let’s call it what it is and confront the demons the corruption of our country has wrought…
